Dear John,
As 2021 comes to a close, I'm thinking about the immense challenges we've all faced this year.
I'm thinking about our brave and resilient doctors, nurses and staff who worked day in and day out to ensure the safety and health of every child who came through our doors.
I'm thinking about you and the thousands of people across the country who stepped up—in whatever way you could—to help sick and injured kids.
And I'm thinking about our patients and their families who put their trust in Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Here at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we like to say that we create hope and build healthier futures—and this year was no exception.
Your continued support has meant lifesaving research and life-changing treatment. It's meant there was never any question that we would rise to the occasion, responding rapidly and innovating to meet the ongoing and unprecedented challenges of COVID-19. And it's meant that every child could receive the care they needed, no matter their family's financial situation.
Simply put, we couldn't do this work without you, John.
In the next year, we'll continue providing care in more than 350 specialties, in addition to lifesaving and life-changing research that helps kids in Los Angeles and throughout the world. We'll keep providing hope to the thousands of kids and their families who come through our doors. And we'll do it together.
I'm so grateful to have you as a part of this community.
