This end of year deadline is particularly important. In January, my team and I will be making key spending decisions. The more money we have to invest early, the further our dollars will go.
New district lines were just finalized, and our new district has roughly an equal number of Democrats and Republicans, so it’s time to hit the ground running.
If we’re able to report a strong end of year fundraising number, it could help keep Republican super PACs from running attack ads against me. Basically, they’re seeing where they should invest, and I want to show them that this race won’t be worth it.
