*Every *Single *One — thanks for helping LGBTQ youth in crisis
“Both my parents are homophobic and, being nonbinary, it's really hard to live my truth and shine. Thank you so much because you make me feel validated.”
Dear
Friend of Trevor,
I wish the words above were rarely written or spoken. Sadly, this is reality for many LGBTQ young people. Every day, hundreds of children, teens, and young adults contact The Trevor Project’s crisis counselors. Many reach out for help navigating relationships with their families and friends. Others are feeling anxious and depressed. And some are in very dark places, seriously considering suicide.
As I look ahead to the possibilities of a new year, I have a renewed hope for a world where LGBTQ young people — every single one of them — see bright futures for themselves. The staff and volunteers of The Trevor Project work tirelessly towards this vision every day, and we are grateful for your partnership. Together, we are showing LGBTQ young people that they are loved, valued, and never alone.
Gratefully,
