I’m reaching out because top political forecasters just moved my Senate race closer to being a TOSS-UP. I just got off the phone with Catherine and she said I should reach out right away to ask for your help, John.

Here’s the thing: Mitch McConnell only needs to flip ONE seat in order to take back the Senate and stop any progress we hope to make on voting rights, reproductive rights, and fighting climate change. GOP outside groups are already spending MILLIONS on misleading attack ads about Catherine and me and it seems their attacks could be working.

Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight is reporting that Democrats are in severe danger of losing key battleground races and CNN is reporting the Republicans are favored to win the Senate.

We cannot afford to lose the Senate majority. That’s why I’m personally asking you to split a donation between my campaign and Catherine’s. When I called her at 10:30 a.m. she said we’re still $5,239 short of today’s $20,000 goal.

Please, John, split $5 or more right now to help Catherine and me defend the Senate majority. Losing just one seat could hand Mitch McConnell the Senate and we can’t let that happen.

Thank you so much,
