Dear Friends,
From everyone at Sea Shepherd and our crew members stationed around the world, we want to thank you for your ongoing support and for standing by our side as we continued to protect the ocean this year.
While the holiday season is upon us, and most people are spending time with family, our efforts to protect the ocean never stop. Dedicated crew members are tirelessly working on board our ships to ensure that they are ready for all of our upcoming life-saving campaigns. Our crew members may not be at home with their families, but as part of the larger Sea Shepherd Family, their dedication and devotion are contributing to a greater cause.

Sam Simon is in Portugal, and in 2022, we will launch her for another season of exposing the brutal slaughter of dolphins, off the Atlantic Coast of France. This deadly activity by fishing trawlers is responsible for the death of thousands of dolphins each year. You can read more about our campaign and how to support us in saving these beautiful creatures here: Operation Dolphin Bycatch |

As you can see, our ships remain active throughout the year, but this is only possible because of your continued support. Generous donors have pledged to match every donation received through the end of the year, up to $500K. Thanks to these supporters, every donation received is doubled, so a gift of $50 automatically doubles to become $100. We are very close to meeting this fundraising goal but are not quite there. To help us reach this goal, you can donate today at: seashepherd.org/mgc2021 Thank you for helping us continue to protect the ocean’s most vulnerable species and ecosystems. From our captains, crew members and staff, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season and we look forward to many great victories for our ocean in 2022. |
