Closed between Christmas Day and December 28th, and between New Year’s Day and January 3rd.


Bin Collections

Bin days usually change at Christmas and New Year due to Bank Holidays – this year, they don’t because the holidays fall on the weekend.

So, put your bin out on the usual day, and if you’re not sure when that is, double check on your bin calendar.


Libraries

Libraries

The following libraries will be open 9am to 1pm on selected days only and closed on the remaining days, click on each library below to see the full details

Bulwell Riverside Library, Clifton Library, Dales Centre Library, Hyson Green Library, St Ann’s Valley Library, Strelley Road Library, Wollaton Library

The following libraries will be closed from Friday 24 December to Monday 3 January and return to normal opening hours on Tuesday 4 January 2022 (please note some libraries have a closed day on Tuesdays so Wednesday 5 January will be their first open day)

Aspley Library, Basford Library, Bilborough Library, The Meadows Library, Radford-Lenton Library, Southglade Park Library.


Wollaton Hall

Leisure Centres

All leisure centres are closed between Christmas Day and December 28th, on New Year’s Day and on January 3rd.

Parks

All Nottingham City Parks will continue to be open over Christmas and New Year, these include Nottingham Arboretum, Colwick Country Park, Forest Recreation Ground, Highfields Park, Woodthorpe Grange Park and Valley Road Park

On weekends and Bank Holidays opening time will be 9:00 am (approx) and on normal weekdays 8:00 am (approx.)

Parks will continue to close at 16:30pm each day.

Recycling

Bookings are now open for residents to get their real Christmas tree collected and recycled for just £5 post Christmas.

Please remove all decorations and lights from your tree beforehand nottinghamcity.gov.uk/xmastree
