The end of the year is always an important time for us to reflect on where we've been and where we're headed. Since we launched this campaign, I've been able to travel across Iowa meeting lots of different folks. I'm so proud of the vibrant communities we have to offer.
This year we saw workers rise up at John Deere to demand dignity and respect on the job. They did what it took, despite leaders at the very top refusing to stand with them. My opponent Kim Reynolds stood with Trump instead.
I have a feeling that more Iowans will be in a similar place at the ballot box in November. We're saying enough is enough, and we're ready to elect new leadership for Iowa. We're not waiting for anyone's permission to lead, or do what we feel is right for this great state.
