Friend,
On September 10, 2010, my husband, Brian Mast, was blown up by a Taliban-set bomb while serving our country overseas. He lost both of his legs and a finger, but I thank God everyday that his life was ultimately spared.

I remember just how hard Brian fought after that fateful day to get back to serving America any way that he could. He didn’t want to leave his best service to our country behind him on the battlefield of Afghanistan.

Ultimately, Brian was able to battle back from his injuries and continue his service to our country as a United States Congressman.

This year, though, Brian and other Afghanistan veterans had to deal with a heart-breaking setback…

Joe Biden abandoned Americans and our allies in Afghanistan. Years of sacrifice from veterans like my husband was brought to a halt with fatalities and disaster.

Brian has been working overtime since then to help those who were left behind, and to push for accountability in Washington.

But I could see in his eyes back then a question that I’m sure many Afghanistan veterans have been left grappling with - whether it was all worth it.

That’s why I’m hoping a nice gesture from his friends and family this holiday season will be a great way of lifting Brian’s spirits.

I’m putting together a Christmas card that I hope all of Brian’s top supporters will take the time to sign today as an appreciative gesture for his service to our country. Will you add your name to it today?
Thank you for signing the card and standing with someone who loves his country more than anyone I know.

God bless and Merry Christmas,
Brianna Mast

P.S. If you have a few dollars to spare this holiday season, I know he’d greatly appreciate any support you can provide to his campaign. Use this link so we can surprise him with a gift:
