Hi John,
I'm still not done talking about school board races -- and I probably never will be,
even if it has meant major donors cutting their support.
School boards are too important to ignore. Republicans know that, and they're putting big money and time into recruiting anti-vax, pro-QAnon, anti-history candidates.
But you know I've got good news: Run for Something is committed to challenging them every day and everywhere. We're putting diverse young progressives on school boards across the country.
Because this work has cost us major donor support, I am hoping grassroots supporters like you will step up. Donate
$5
or whatever you can afford.

So why is Run for Something one of the only national progressive orgs that gets involved in school board races? The short answer: They're messy, small, often unorganized, they happen all year long, and their impact can
seem so small. (Plus, it's just really hard)
But we, the Run for Something community, know: There's no such thing as a small race.
School board races are close to people's hearts and lives -- after all, the local school board makes decisions that can affect not just our kids but generations of students. Their decisions can change what kids learn, what they're served for lunch, and especially their safety while they're in the classroom.
Our kids deserve better than school boards run by QAnon believers who ban masks in a pandemic. Donate
$5
or more to help recruit diverse young progressives to run for school board.
Fighting for school boards has cost us before, but I'm not giving up. With grassroots support from you and a lineup of all-star candidates invested in their community, we can win this fight.
Let's go,
