Happy holidays

Garbage bins

Garbage collection remains on schedule; Christmas tree collection runs through Jan. 14

Groot Industries will continue to collect trash and recycling as scheduled during the holidays. There will not be any scheduled disruptions to their service during the months of December, January or February.

Free Christmas tree collection will begin on Dec. 27. Place your bare tree, free from lights and decorations, by the curb on your regularly scheduled garbage day.  Do not bag your tree or place a yard waste sticker on it. The free collection ends Jan. 14. Residents who miss the free tree collection will be required to wait until April when the yard waste program starts up again and a sticker will be required at that time.
