Derek and Jonathan live for the small joys in life—like their little girl, Simone, dressing up as Baby Shark for Halloween. Her fathers try to savor these moments even as they endure the stress of their legal battle against the U.S. State Department. 
 
The Trump administration treats their one-year-old daughter as born out of wedlock just because they’re a same-sex couple. They won’t stand for this discrimination, and neither will we. We filed a lawsuit with Lambda Legal to get justice for Simone, Derek, and Jonathan, and we need your support to win.
