John,
The 12 candidates running for a chance to become the GOP nominee for governor are continuing to show how extreme they truly are.
Rather than offer Michiganders clear plans to improve our infrastructure, keep our economic recovery strong, and fight for working families, these gubernatorial candidates have gravitated to divisive issues that have nothing to do with moving Michigan forward.
Here’s a recap of what a few of our extreme opponents have been up to this month:
- James Craig continues to say that infrastructure isn’t a priority for his campaign, and he’s pushing to strip funding from our public schools.
- Kevin Rinke, on the other hand, is facing questions about allegations that he maintained a toxic workplace rife with sexist and racist comments.
- And to top it all off, Tudor Dixon is committed to cutting off all access to reproductive care for Michiganders and punishing health care providers.
Look, John, we have a clear choice here. Gretchen Whitmer has boosted Michigan’s economy, put children and families first, and cut costs for hardworking Michiganders, and we need to double down before the end of the year to show we’re ready to win this race.
So join us before the end of the day today by making a contribution of $5 or whatever you can. Together, we can win this tossup race and defend Michigan from extremists.
