As 2021 draws to a close, we know the new year brings a lot of uncertainty for abortion access. The Supreme Court just recently refused to stop Texas’ devastating and highly unconstitutional bounty hunter six-week abortion ban and anti-abortion lawmakers in other states are likely now to follow Texas’ lead to ban abortion in their own states. Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court is also separately considering whether to overturn—or completely decimate—the constitutional right to abortion potentially cutting off abortion access for millions in the United States. These extremist efforts are not only unraveling the constitutional right to abortion but are tugging at the strings of our democracy.

The Law Center is in the midst of the most consequential fight for abortion access in decades, and today I’m writing to ask for your support as we prepare for the year ahead. Can you make a gift now to fuel the gender justice fights ahead and help us reach our goal? [[link removed]]

Eliminate long-standing federal restrictions on abortion care and coverage from recently introduced congressional spending bills, for the first time in decades.
File amicus briefs supporting challenges to abortion bans and restrictions in multiple states, including Mississippi’s 15-week ban.
Pass the Women’s Health Protection Act in the House of Representatives.
