With Joe Manchin having likely killed the Build Back Better bill and Democratic leadership unwilling to do anything meaningful to force him to support it (like strip him of his chairmanship of the Senate Energy Committee), it’s become even more clear that we need working-class populists in Congress to stand up to both the Republican and Democratic leadership.
Joe Manchin is a coal baron who makes half a million dollars a year from coal money. My opponent is a Joe Manchin Democrat who takes Chevron money and opposes the Green New Deal.
As a working-class populist, I will never sell you out.
I’ve risked arrest to get housing for homeless people and as a volunteer human rights observer for indigenous communities in Mexico. If you’re skeptical, I get it. But I hope you’ll consider my track record and give me a chance by donating.
