Also, I consider it part of my work to hold politicians who support the fossil fuel industry accountable for their actions. One opportunity I had recently was to testify on behalf of a family traumatized by chemical exposure from a fracking operation near their Broomfield home. My latest op-ed takes on the challenging dynamics of the senate race. It addresses the party establishment's risky endorsement of an opponent in the primary, a man with a long record of placing the
interests of the fossil fuel industry over the health and safety of Coloradans.
Since I launched my campaign in April, I have participated in over 100 political events and I want to keep focusing on the work that I am doing.
The reality is that I must also fundraise. I'm grateful for any amount you would consider contributing. And, to sweeten the deal, I plan to draw names out of a hat and will send a jar of honey to five supporters! I jarred 150 pounds of honey this month so I am eager to give some away.
