Hi team,
With the year wrapping up, we’d like to take a moment and reflect on some of Stacey’s major accomplishments this year.
As the first representative of a US territory to serve as an impeachment manager, Stacey started 2021 by making history, and followed up by launching the Truth & Justice Fund to fight back against the lies that incited the insurrection and to hold those responsible accountable.
Throughout the year, she led the charge against COVID by supporting the availability of vaccines to everyone, and when it came time to invest in our families and communities, as a member of the exclusive Ways and Means Committee, Stacey threw all her support to ensuring the Build Back Better Act passed the House.
Stacey also led the charge on protecting access to the ballot box during a year that saw a coordinated attack on voting rights across the country, while also supporting criminal justice and policing reform.
And as a Co-Chair of the House Caribbean Caucus, Rep. Plaskett continues to fight for the many issues that are affecting her community in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Caribbean countries. From Social Security to Medicare, Stacey will always stand up for the rights of her constituents.
Next week is our final FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline and we’ve set up a $5,000 end-of-year goal to end the year strong. Will you join us in setting up our campaign for success as we start the new year?
