Dear John,
Today is Election Day across the country. Whether your city/town/county is voting for propositions and referendums, or you are choosing your next County Commissioner or City Council and Mayor, your vote matters.
Voting in our nation is a privilege that should never be taken for granted. Win, lose or draw your vote helps decide how tax dollars are spent in your community, what curriculum looks like for students in your district, who gets a seat at the table and much more.
So thank you, if you have submitted your ballot already. Please encourage at least 5 others in your family/friend network to submit theirs as well! Peer-to-Peer urging is one of the greatest influencers for individuals to turn in their ballots. Let's send that last text, make one more phone call or pick someone up and take them to the ballot drop off location! Here in Colorado we can no longer mail ballots, but we have until 7 PM to be in line at a ballot drop off location to have our vote and voice count today. Coloradans can check www.govotecolorado.com to find the closest drop off station.
Let our voices ring from community to community across the nation today. Your vote is your voice!
In solidarity,
Stephany
