Team, back in the summer, we launched an ambitious organizing program called Project 15/30. It’s the earliest we’ve ever organized for an election, but we know the stakes are too high in 2022 to sit still.
We’re already seeing great results,
thanks to your support. Here’s what we’ve been able to do in just the last few months:
1. We’ve held 50 events and counting since October, on pace to have an event registering voters and recruiting volunteers roughly every other day somewhere in AZ.
2. More than 1,110 Arizonans are signed up to be volunteers a full year before the 2022 elections. That includes more than 250 neighborhood leaders working in their communities this early!
3. Roughly 14,000 Arizonans have been contacted in the last few months, either to check in about their support for the AZ Dems, recruitment for volunteering, or other voter contact.
We’ve accomplished a lot so far in 2021, and we have a good foundation set up for 2022. But every organizer we have is covering a minimum of three legislative districts. Imagine what we could accomplish if every organizer could focus on just one legislative district! We can’t do that without more resources.
I know that if we give all AZ communities the attention they deserve, we can win the governor’s office, flip the legislature, and elect Democrats in all corners of the Copper State.
