We should all be proud of what we accomplished this year. After four years of Trump-McConnell judges, we had our shot and we made it count:

- 40 new judges have been confirmed, including 11 circuit court judges;
- the first openly LGBTQ+ woman to serve on a federal court of appeals (and another nominated);
- more than 30 women of color nominated, including 7 confirmed to the courts of appeals;
- 10 Asian American Pacific Islander judges confirmed — a record; and
- scores of civil rights leaders, consumer advocates, and labor lawyers who will defend the rights of working people.

We couldn’t have done this without your dedication to equal justice in our courtrooms and across our nation.

So, as we bring this year to a close, here is our little gift to you. We are thrilled to present the AFJ’s end of the year report: A Fairer Court: How President Biden and Congress Raised the Bar in 2021.
This report is yours as much as ours.
