Greg Abbott recently sent a letter to the heads of state agencies — including agencies like the Department of Family and Protective Services, the Texas Education Agency, Health and Human Services Commission and more.
The letter was off-putting and discouraging: He warned agency heads to think carefully before accepting any money from federal infrastructure funding.
This is just the latest in Greg Abbott’s attempts to undercut support that is meant to really help Texans.
Texas deserves a leader who wants to work with the federal government and state agencies to deliver support to Texans and bolster the agencies that affect our everyday lives.
