We just got some very welcome breaking news:
The Biden-Harris Administration has extended the pause on federal student loan payments until May 1.
Now, understand this: They made this decision because a grassroots movement demanded it. They made this decision because people spoke up about what it would mean to have to start making payments again. They made this decision because we made the case.
So thank you, thank you, thank you for being in this fight.
Raising your voice matters.
This is how we make change. And this is how we’re going to take the next step to get the administration to cancel $50,000 of student debt. It would jumpstart our economy, start to close the racial wealth gap, and lift a burden off tens of millions of people who never should have had to take on this much debt to begin with.
We’re going to do this — side by side.
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
Our final FEC fundraising deadline is coming up next week. Grassroots donors like you are powering the fight for big, structural change.
If you can, will you chip in $3 or whatever makes sense right now to help re-elect Elizabeth and put more Warren Democrats in office across the country?
