The U.S. Food and Drug Administration heeded our calls and eliminated the in-person requirement to obtain mifepristone.
Ayanna and our movement just secured an important victory for reproductive justice in our country:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration heeded our calls and eliminated the in-person requirement to obtain mifepristone, a prescription medication that’s used to safely end early pregnancies in the United States.
Mifepristone has helped millions of people maintain control over their reproductive health and future — but the FDA’s longstanding requirement to pick up this essential medication in-person was burdensome, medically unnecessary, and stigmatized safe, simple abortion care.
The FDA’s decision to lift this requirement will help ensure more people — including low-income people, Black, brown, LBTQ+ folx, and others who face unique barriers to accessing in-person care — are able to get the abortion care they need.
Abortion care is health care, and Ayanna is fighting to ensure it’s accessible to everyone who needs it, without unjust and unnecessary barriers.
With abortion rights under attack nationwide, will you chip in $3 to fuel Ayanna’s advocacy and legislative work to continue to advance reproductive justice for all?
Contribute $3
Ayanna is at the forefront of the fight for reproductive justice in Congress, and we’re making important progress to expand access and affirm abortion care as a fundamental human right.
As we face continued attacks on our reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy, this work has never been more urgent.
A $3 contribution from you today will help power our work to secure more victories for reproductive justice and build support to affirm abortion care as the fundamental right that it is. Can we count on your $3 contribution now?
In solidarity,
The A-Team
