One year ago today, Gavin Newsom appointed Alex Padilla to replace Vice President Kamala Harris as the junior United States Senator from California.

Since then, Alex has made us nothing but proud.

He has led the fight on voting rights, gun violence prevention, combating climate change, passing the Build Back Better Act, and repealing the filibuster.

Now he’s running for a full term, in what many people say will be a tough year for Democrats — even in California.

But the truth is, we’ll hold this seat if all of us do our part. But that’s the key… doing OUR part. And hopefully $3 is a small price to pay to keep Alex in the Senate. What do you say?
