John,

With the holidays in full swing, I wanted to highlight an incredible organization supporting homeless youth in our community.

Project Hope is dedicated to building homes and communities of support for youth who age out of foster care and end up homeless. This is certainly a big issue here in the Central Valley, and there are a staggering 4,900 homeless youth in Los Angeles County alone. One primary cause of homelessness is the lack of access to educational opportunities, which is why I'm proud to work with Project Hope to help kids earn their GED.

The other day, I hosted a Gingerbread House Building Contest to raise money for their efforts. The results were creative… and tasty!

As many in our community celebrate the holidays, it's important to me that we remember those who are less fortunate and do everything we can to support them. That's part of why I'm running for Congress against Kevin McCarthy, and it's also why I'm asking for your support for Project Hope today:

Will you chip in a donation to Project Hope to support homeless youth here in California? Your support will help Project Hope purchase land in order to build a community of 25 sustainable tiny homes to house homeless youth.

Thanks for your support,

Marisa
