Hy-Vee maps out 4-state expansion

Hy-Vee will build a new distribution center in Nashville, Tenn., as the retailer prepares to expand into Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Indiana, according to published reports. The center will open in 2023 to serve seven new stores and Hy-Vee's goal is to open 21 new locations in the four states by 2025.

US business-to-business technology industry revenue will fall 2% in 2022 but increase 3% in 2023, and channel sales will surpass $106 billion in 2023, NPD's Future of B2B Technology report forecasts. "The pivot to working from home that began in 2020 jump-started the momentum around digital transformation, and that will continue to be a significant driver of future technology spend," says NPD's Mike Crosby.

In the new year, autonomous vehicles will become more common and more consumers will get their first experience with robotaxis and with their packages being delivered via AVs, writes Bernard Marr, a futurist, strategist and best-selling author. Other AV trends Marr predicts are increased collaboration among AV companies, use of artificial intelligence to keep an eye on driver behavior and autonomous ships and boats, particularly as ferries.
