The holiday season always arrives with a lot of expectations: Visiting with family. Finding the right presents. Getting those cards out in time! There’s so much to do that it can really make “the most wonderful time of the year” feel anything but. And now, COVID is adding to the pressure as well. The days-long blackout of the Texas energy grid represented a failure of infrastructure, oversight, planning and the state’s competitive energy market – an economic decision that’s been a point of pride for many state leaders for over twenty years.
