Wow, I can’t believe the holidays are upon us already.

It’s been quite the year. I don’t want to keep you long, but I had some thoughts I wanted to share with my supporters as we prepare to enter the election year.

First, I want to thank every single one of you for your support. Whether you’ve been with me from the start or just signed on to our team last week, I’m so grateful to have a network of folks from all walks of life supporting me.

In 2021, the House was able to pass myriad pieces of legislation that would fundamentally change the course of our history. The infrastructure bill will inject billions of dollars into our economy to fix our crumbling infrastructure, bridge the digital divide, and invest in American industry.

We’ve also passed the Build Back Better Act and numerous bills to defend voting rights and our democracy. These bills would not only protect the foundation of our country but help hardworking families by providing paid leave and lowering prescription drug costs.

Looking ahead to 2022, we need to keep up this momentum, but it’s not going to be easy.

Republicans have given themselves a slight advantage through redistricting, and they’ve identified the five seats they need to flip to take back control of the House – including my district.

My opponents would not only be terrible for Pennsylvanians, but they would also wreak chaos in the House. With a Trump presidential campaign looming, many in the GOP will be pushed towards even more extreme and risky behavior to win the favor of their party’s leader.

We can’t let that happen. If you’re ready to do whatever it takes to keep up the progress we’ve made together, consider chipping in to make sure I’m ready for whatever they throw at me in 2022. Even just $10 would help. [[link removed]]

Thanks, and Happy Holidays,

Matt
