Proud Boys Regroup, Focusing on School Boards and Town Councils The far-right nationalist group has become increasingly active at school board meetings and town council gatherings across the country.
 

It set off huge alarm bells for us. The Proud Boys are the worst of the worst: they’re accused of inciting and organizing the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, they’re violently anti-LGBTQ, they’ve got dark-money backers with deep pockets, and even worse? They’re training their members to run for office in 2022.

And the Proud Boys aren’t the only extremists gearing up to hold elected office. Many extremists are switching from protesting school board and city council meetings over pro-LGBTQ literature to registering their campaigns for public office!

Some of them are already on the campaign trail! Here are four insurrectionists, bigots and extremists we know we must beat in 2022:
ANDY HARRIS believes the 2020 was fraudulent and tried to bring a gun onto the floor of the U.S. House. Heather Mizeur can defeat this bigot in November and flip this seat! RICK SACCONE proudly filmed himself storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6th! Brian Sims MUST defeat him in Pennsylvania! Karoline Leavitt believes the 2020 election was stolen from President Trump and is demanding election audits! Rep. Chris Pappas must hold onto this swing seat again! Julie Fredrickson founded the Omaha Tea Party Patriots and is a vocally anti-LGBTQ! John Fredrickson is a mental health professional who focuses on the LGBTQ community! He can win this open seat in the Nebraska Legislature! WE CAN'T LET THESE CANDIDATES WIN IN 2022!
