We have some INCREDIBLY important news:
On December 2, the Supreme Court will hear a case that could jeopardize lifesaving gun safety laws across the country.
For the first time in 10 years, the Court will hear a major 2nd Amendment challenge when oral arguments are made in New York State Rifle & Pistol Ass’n v. City of New York.
The New York City rule being challenged prohibited gun owners with handguns licensed for their homes from bringing their handguns anywhere except pre-approved shooting ranges.
The new justices appointed by President Trump hold a radical view of the Second Amendment that is hostile to our gun safety efforts.
They could use this case to set a dangerous precedent that’ll make it easier for the gun lobby to mount legal challenges to lifesaving gun laws like concealed carry regulations and assault weapons bans.
So today, we’re launching a major effort to raise public awareness about the stakes of this case and rally gun safety supporters around the country. Will you join us?
