Dear Conservation Voter,

Climate change weighs heavily on me for the people and places dearest to me, for climate refugees, and for all the natural wonders I'll never know.

But even in moments of despair, I'm buoyed by hope, because we can still change our climate-future. It's the challenge of our lives, and meeting it will take bold ingenuity, brave leadership, deep solidarity, and unrelenting effort.

It will take teamwork to make this dream work – and we’re grateful that you’re part of the MCV team! Please join in with a donation that will be used in support of our mission to help create a more equitable and resilient Maine that curbs carbon emissions pollution. [[link removed]]

Over the last year, our team has worked tirelessly to secure passage of the Build Back Better Act to reduce carbon pollution, strengthen our communities, and enhance our resilience. This is our last, best chance to act on the crisis of our lifetimes at the scale that science and justice demands. While moving the Build Back Better Act forward has become increasingly more challenging, we are more determined than ever to keep fighting to ensure it becomes law.

We'll keep using every tool available to us to encourage Maine’s U.S. Congressional Representatives and Senators to support this transformational initiative.

The continued push for climate leadership can only happen with members – including you – on our team. Your year-end gift today will help keep up the fight for a better climate future. [[link removed]]

With gratitude,

- Kathleen
