Super Typhoon Rai has had a severe impact and death toll in the Philippines. We wanted to provide an update that Love146’s safe homes & all staff and children there are unaffected and doing well. However, several former clients who had been reintegrated back into communities have experienced devastating losses as the areas they are living took a direct hit from this storm. Natural disasters are a source of increased vulnerability. We journey with survivors for the long-haul and we are supporting their needs. We will keep you updated if there is an opportunity in the future to specifically give towards these costs.
