We have some big news to share here at Matsui campaign headquarters!
U.S. Representative Doris Matsui announced she will stand for re-election in 2022 in the newly drawn Congressional District 7, a district that encompasses the heart of the Sacramento region.
This district includes her home in Land Park, her longtime district office in downtown Sacramento, and the many familiar neighborhood communities that make up Sacramento and the surrounding region. The majority of the new District 7 is comprised of Congresswoman Matsui’s current constituents whom she has represented since 2005.
During her last election in 2020, Matsui received more than 73 percent of the vote. Sacramentans understand that Doris works hard for them each and every day and we’re confident that they will make the right decision again next year. Doris is incredibly proud to serve the region and we look forward to seeing what we can get done together in 2022.
