1.) THE BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES
Taxpayer, this is my favorite headline

“Veterans Affairs Ends Experiments On Cats In West LA.” — CBS News
6-month-old kittens. Suffocated. Injected with poison. Head caps cemented onto
their little skulls… before killing them and removing their brains.
[[link removed]] The Los Angeles VA
[[link removed]] was doing REALLY bad stuff with $5 million of your tax money. But it refused to
hand over lab records.

So we sued
[[link removed]] in court…and WE WON
[[link removed]] , big time.
Just days after we exposed our findings on CBS News TV, the Los Angeles VA ended ALL its experiments on kittens — every single one of them
[[link removed]] . [[link removed]]
[[link removed]]
Taxpayer, this is a BFD; WCW is the only organization to
close a government cat lab in 2021!
Before Los Angeles, there were only four remaining painful cat experiments in
the federal government… and then, there were three.

2) CUT THE 💩 IN CLEVELAND
The battle of Los Angeles was a hard-fought victory, but we didn’t rest. Kittens
were still suffering
[[link removed]] at VA labs, and taxpayers like you were still footing the bill for it.
So we proceeded to the next battlefield: Cleveland, where you first helped us expose the waste
[[link removed]] — in all senses of the word — last year.
[[link removed]]
Turns out, taxpayers don’t like paying for million-plus-dollar experiments that
stuffed kittens full of artificial poop, then killed them. Who’da thunk? (Other
than, well, everyone).
Surrounded by our grassroots army and with hard-hitting advertising, WCW cut the crap… literally

In October, WCW declared victory: the VA’s Cleveland lab stopped its waste-full
(and wasteful!) “cat-stipation” experiments for good.

Your tax bill was over a million dollars. Now it’s $0.

experiment — SHUT DOWN

3) BIPARTISAN BEATDOWN
Even Congress doesn’t usually know about its wasteful spending on animal
experiments. Most federal agencies try to keep the abuse as quiet as possible.
THAT’S WHERE WCW COMES IN. THINK: F.E.D.
Because of your help, we were able to F IND the VA’s kitten labs and E XPOSE the secret videotapes
[[link removed]] to Members of Congress. 30 legislators sent this letter
[[link removed]] to the Secretary of the VA, demanding information on the kitten experiments.

Lawmakers were so horrified by WCW’s investigation, that we promptly rallied
powerful Republicans and Democrats to D EFUND the VA’s kitten mutilation camps.
Don’t forget, the VA is already required to phase out
[[link removed]] all its experiments on all dogs, primates, and cats by 2025, but the (bipartisan!) CATS Act
[[link removed]] would shut them down even faster.
Think of it like WCW’s “nuclear bomb;” it annihilates the enemy’s tax funding in
one decisive blow. When the money stops, the killing stops!
4) ENDANGERED SPECIES >> EXTINCTION
Thanks to you, U.S. government testing on cats and kittens is officially on the endangered species list

There are now just two active cat experiments left at the VA — the last two painful cat labs in the entire federal government.
With our victory over the VA’s Los Angeles cat lab, and progress in Cleveland,
