Team,

Earlier this month the Supreme Court upheld one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country, refusing to protect reproductive rights for millions of people in Texas. It's dangerous, irresponsible, and could turn back the clock on decades of progress.

Meanwhile we're waiting to hear their decision on the Mississippi abortion ban case that could determine the future of Roe v. Wade and reproductive rights across the country.

In 2021 we've seen states pass the highest number of abortion restrictions in a given year since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. If Roe v. Wade is struck down, twenty-six states could ban abortion.

We have a responsibility to protect the right to choose for all Americans, and we can't rely on the Supreme Court to defend Roe v. Wade .

Chris voted to pass the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) to enshrine the right to choose in federal law. The House passed this urgent legislation, but we're still waiting on the Senate to take this legislation up for a vote.

Reproductive rights are on the line. Add your name to call on the Senate to take immediate action to protect reproductive rights by voting on the WHPA.
