Election Day is finally here, and as we go to the polls to vote, it’s important to remember what this race is all about.

When I started this campaign over a year ago, I vowed that I would fight for working families and make sure that all Mississippians have a champion in the governor’s office. Since then, I’ve spent every day on the campaign trail living up to that promise, and listening to people across Mississippi talk about their vision for our state. I’m focused on addressing the issues that matter most.

As governor, I will expand access to healthcare so that folks all across the state have the affordable care that they need, and rural hospitals can stay open. I will fix our crumbling roads and bridges because we deserve infrastructure that can support a growing economy. And I will fully fund our public education system and support our teachers so that we have schools that can prepare our next generation.

This race is about the future of Mississippi. Together, we can build a Mississippi where every single person has their voice heard, where our young people and businesses want to put down roots, and where we work together to take care of the least among us. That all starts at the polls today.
