We are excited to have Joy at WCV and can’t wait to see her vision come to life. Joy is passionate about mobilizing voters and we hope you will join us in this mission too. Sincerely, Emily Krieger Emily Krieger John, I am so thrilled to join Washington Conservation Voters as the new Political Director! Throughout my career I’ve worked in the healthcare industry, in the housing sector helping connect people with the housing they need, and ran for office. The common thread across all my experiences is that I am a connector. I thrive connecting people with the resources they need. In my new role, I am dedicated to engaging voters who aren’t usually in the environmental space. I am excited to educate and engage folks on the intersectionality between the environment, where we live, who we are, and what we do. All of these things blend together to create a happy, healthy, life. When it's time to vote, we need communities to know which candidates will care about economic and environmental justice. As a Black woman I know the environmental message doesn’t always connect. Educating our communities takes time, effort, and work. I’m ready to get to work with you by my side. Give today and join us as we engage and help power up our communities. Together we can make sure the environmental leaders we want to see have the support they need to make meaningful change Sincerely, Joy Stanford Joy Stanford |
