Corruption appears to have reached the top ranks of the GOP in the Oklahoma State Legislature. Speaker Pro-Tempore Terry O'Donnell has been indicted on 5 felony counts and has been accused of misusing his power to enrich himself and his family.

ODP Vice Chair Eric Proctor stood up for Oklahomans during an interview about these charges:
"Regardless of what party someone’s in, we have to have faith that that elected official is there to do the will of the people and not simply as FDR would say, 'Pluck the wings of the American eagle to feather their own nest.'"
