Radical, anti-police proponents like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are denying America’s rise in crime despite the overwhelming evidence.
You may have seen that recently, California has suffered several “smash and grab” robberies with damages and losses totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars. One department store reported over $125,000 dollars worth of merchandise stolen in a single incident. Such brazen thefts are happening here too in Minneapolis.
The Retail Industry Leaders Association is trying to bring awareness to the issue by compiling mountains of evidence proving the drastic rise in crime within Democrat cities. However, AOC doesn’t want to believe it. She recently stated to the press:
“A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out….the data didn’t back it up.”
We have absolutely zero idea what she is referring to considering the overwhelming evidence. It’s clear these smash-and-grabs are planned by criminal organizations looking to cash in on soft-on-crime policies and left-wing DAs who won’t prosecute “smaller” crimes.
AOC refused to admit that the Far Left’s actions are resulting in the rampant theft taking place across America. When you advocate for defunding the police, what did you think would happen!?
