Recent passage of the infrastructure bill represents a significant victory for public transit investment in communities nationwide. From coast to coast, in big cities and small towns, these long-term investments will help improve the quality of life for all Americans—regardless of how often they use public transit (or even if they use it at all). Voices for Public Transit will be working to ensure funding reaches the communities that need it most, helping to expand public transit systems around the country. That includes expanded bus and light rail systems, new sustainable mobility options, expanded employment and educational opportunities for all Americans.
