John,
Good morning. It’s Election Day! Thank
you so much for all you’ve done to get us to this moment. Everything
we have done over the past year all comes down to what we do
today.
First, please make sure to vote if you
haven’t yet. Polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm.
If you still have a vote by mail ballot,
the only way to mail it in time to have your vote counted is to make
sure it’s postmarked by today. To avoid that risk, we urge you instead
to turn in your ballot at any polling place in the city. You can also
drop off a mail ballot at the Goodlett (Polk) or Grove
street sides of City Hall or outside the Towers at Centennial Square,
located at 798 State Drive.
For questions about any of this, or to
find your polling place, please call the San Francisco Department of
Elections at (415) 554-4375. You
can also find your polling place here.
And
if you're available to help us make one final push to call voters and
remind them to vote, please stop by our office, located at 505
Divisadero, any time between now and 8 pm. You can also call us with
questions at 415-371-9754.
Then, tonight, after the polls close, I
hope you will join us for our Election Night party at The Church of 8
Wheels. I would love to see you there so I can thank you in person
for everything you’ve done for our campaign over this past year.
Ok, now I’m heading out to the
neighborhoods to help bring this victory home. Please join us at our
headquarters for any amount of time you can today to help us win, and
then come celebrate with us tonight.
Thanks so much, and see you soon!
