Folks, I know the pundits doubt our odds of keeping the majority in the House of Representatives. But we can protect our majority by taking back seats in competitive districts. That includes electing Gabe Vasquez, a true champion for New Mexico, in our southern district. Democrats won District 2 in 2018 — and the House majority along with it. Now, our chances are even better with the new district map. I endorsed Gabe early on, even before the new district lines were drawn. That’s because I know he has the passion and determination to deliver on economic justice, equal pay for equal work, affordable housing, and access to quality health care for all. New Mexico Republicans will do everything they can to stop Gabe from defeating Trump Republican Yvette Herrell and strengthening our House majority. But I know this movement has the strength to come together to make sure Gabe wins.
