Upcoming Events: Sign up to be a poll greeter: Most Arlingtonians vote in person on Election Day, and poll greeters are critical to ensuring Democratic victory in Arlington! Voters will only know who our terrific local candidates are if we give them a sample ballot! That includes County Board Members Katie Cristol and Christian Dorsey, who are both on the ballot this year. Shifts last two hours, and you can sign up for as many as you want! Election day is here!! After voting today, join the Arlington Young Dems for our Election Night Watch Party! We’ll be tracking election returns at Ireland’s Four Courts starting at 7 pm on November 5th.

It's almost time for AYD Elections! Come out November 13th to meet with the current AYD E-Board and learn about all the elected and appointed positions. In addition, find out who's considering running for the 2020 E-Board and officially register/re-register for AYD so you can vote in our election on November 20th!

This happy hour will take place on Wednesday, November 13th, starting at 6:30 PM at La Finca, just a short walk from the Clarendon metro station.

The Arlington Young Democrats will be holding Executive Board elections on Wednesday, November 20th at NRECA (4301 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA). The location is accessible from the Ballston metro station, with limited street parking available.

In order to cast your ballot in the AYD 2019 Executive Board elections, you must be a dues paying member. Renew your membership and pay your dues below!

Secretary

Community Service Director
Campaign Director

Membership Director
Democratic Party Rep

If you are unable to attend on November 29th, you can still vote by absentee ballot (more details to come.)

The Arlington Young Democrats, in partnership with Equality Virginia, call on members and allies to volunteer for this important Equality Means Business campaign, which seeks to find local businesses willing to pledge that they will not discriminate against their employees or customers who are members of the LGBTQ community!

Our Arlington community is one of the bluest in the Commonwealth, and it’s time we start living our values through our businesses. But we need help getting the word out!

Volunteer to help AYD contact local businesses in Arlington (in person or by phone) to tell them about this important campaign and help them join! We will provide all volunteers with a sample script to get you started. Sign-up here!

Want to help elect Democrats in less than an hour a month? We're recruiting Arlingtonians who live in apartment and condo complexes to serve as building ambassadors. You'll arrange voter registration events, remind your neighbors about upcoming elections and welcome candidates to visit.

Being a building ambassador is easy and fun! Many of our ambassadors find it a great way to meet their neighbors. Arlington Democrats will provide you with all the help that you need.
