[1]Tammy Duckworth

In the next few weeks, you’ll be receiving a lot of emails from our team about our FEC End-of-Quarter goal.

We know receiving a lot of messages, especially around the holidays, can be overwhelming, so we want to explain what this upcoming deadline is, and why it’s so important:

WHAT: Every three months, federal candidates and officials are legally required to submit their fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). These numbers are then published online, so everyone, including our competitors, can see them.

WHEN: Our upcoming deadline is on December 31st — so it’s the FEC End-of-Quarter, and our last deadline of the year, rolled up into one.

WHY WE’LL BE SENDING A LOT OF EMAILS: A good amount of our money comes from donors like you, chipping into emails like this one.

Not raising enough money could mean cutting back on key aspects of our campaign strategy, and it could also send the message to Republicans that this seat is up for grabs.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

If you are able, please make a contribution of $5, or whatever you can afford, to put us in a good position as we go into our very last fundraising push of the year. Truthfully, we wouldn’t be asking if it was not so important.

Every contribution we receive from supporters like you puts us closer to re-electing Tammy Duckworth and retaining our majority in the Senate.

Thank you for reading, and as always, we appreciate your support.

All our best,

Team Duckworth
