Do you remember the last time we had a true White Christmas in Baltimore? Odds are, you’ll have to strain your memory seeing as the last time we got a measurable amount of snow was in 2002. What’s more, the days leading up to this year’s holiday are expected to be warmer than usual.
When I read statistics like that, I’m reminded of the adverse impact climate change continues to have on our planet and Maryland specifically. The climate crisis demands immediate action, and I’m running for governor to step up to the challenge of a generation. Will you chip in to our campaign so I can prioritize climate action in Maryland?

For too long, politicians have promised progress in the fight against climate change. It’s more clear than ever that those promises have been hollow.
From protecting and preserving the Chesapeake Bay, to ending the long-standing inequities in environmental justice, to tackling the challenges of the climate crisis head on, I am deeply committed to ensuring a whole-of-government approach to protect our environment for future generations and put real investments behind combating climate change. Will you contribute what you can today so I have the opportunity to take on one of the biggest challenges facing our generation?

Appreciative, as always,
John King
