(And one of them is doing nothing at all!) Indivisibles,
We’re almost to the end of this whirlwind of a year, and the breaking news just keeps on coming. Like we told you yesterday, all your work this year has made a huge impact. No matter what the breathless media headlines suggest, your constant demands for better from our elected officials have made it so that we really (honestly!) still have a chance to pass our priorities in January.
For the next 10 days, with the Senate out on recess, we’re not asking you to join events, or make calls, or keep up all the intense pressure this movement has been churning out in 2021. Sometimes, rest is the radical choice, and we want you to prioritize your wellbeing so you’re recharged and ready to go when the fight heats back up in January.
That said, we here at Indivisible National are working hard right now to prep everything we’ll need when the fight starts up again. Getting all our tools in tip-top shape and making sure all our resources reflect all the twists and turns of this legislative battle will be crucial. So while we don’t have major action items or a big splashy campaign, we are asking you for just one thing right now: can you please make a quick donation to fund all our work? We still have $32,752 to raise to hit our December goal by New Year’s Eve -- and we rely on folks like you to make it possible. Chipping in 10 bucks or so only takes a minute out of your day, and it’ll ensure we have the resources to fight this battle to the end.
If you’ve saved your information with ActBlue Express Lane, your donation to Indivisible Project will go through immediately:

Watching the news right now can lead you down a spiral of hopelessness if you let it -- we know, because we’re fighting the same feelings ourselves! But we’ve said it before: We don’t engage in these fights for their own sake, we build strategies that we really think can win. And we wouldn’t be telling you we still have a shot if we didn’t believe it.
We hope you take some time over the next week or so for yourself, whatever that means for you. And as always we’re grateful for everything you do to support and participate in this movement.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
P.S. -- We know that folks often look to activist leaders to help explain the mysteries of the legislative process. If you’re anticipating trying to talk with loved ones about all these developments over the holidays, read through our Manchin-related update from yesterday for a quick rundown!
