Dear John,

When we first met Carmela she was suffering from painful, open sores, a debilitating knee injury, and the deepest brown eyes. We instantly fell in love.

The holidays are a time to recognize the generosity and kindness our PAWS Chicago community shows to homeless and at risk pets like Carmela. Without you, PAWS' life-saving programs couldn't exist. We are grateful for that kindness, and for you.

And so is Carmela.

Now at PAWS Medical Center, Carmela has access to the resources she needs to recover. Her wounds have been bandaged and are healing. And surgery will ease her knee pain and improve her movement.

Carmela wouldn’t have gotten a second chance if it weren’t for tenderhearted animal-lovers like you who make everything we do possible. That’s why we’re thrilled that PAWS supporter Bill Little has added $25,000 to our original $50,000 Match Challenge, giving us a potential total of $75,000 in matching gifts.

But we can’t get to this goal without your help. Please help us maximize the magic of this generous donation by giving what you can today and instantly doubling your impact. Every dollar provides a life-changing opportunity for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in need.
