The House passed the Build Back Better Act weeks ago, but Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have been stringing the American people along for months, blocking President Biden’s legislative agenda and putting the entire party at risk electorally.
It’s enraging, but not surprising. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have shown us again and again that we need real Democrats in the Senate who will fight FOR, not against, lower health care costs, affordable child care, climate action, and corporations and billionaires paying their fair share.
It’s not enough to have more Democrats. We need better Democrats who actually work to uphold progressive values. That’s why together, we’re going to primary and replace Kyrsten Sinema.

Joe Manchin may be getting the most press, but let’s be clear: Sen. Sinema helped torpedo Build Back Better. She refused to increase the corporate tax rate by a single percentage point while accepting millions from lobbyists and executives. She joined Manchin in demanding Democrats slash the bill down to nearly half its original size. And even after all those concessions, Sinema still wouldn’t commit her support.
The failed negotiations around Build Back Better make one thing absolutely clear: we need to strengthen our Democratic majority in the Senate. Not only by flipping competitive seats blue and expanding our map, but by replacing out-of-touch corporate Democrats like Sinema with leaders who will serve their constituents, not their donors.
