From day one, I have championed efforts for universal access to vaccines as the best way to ensure our global community is taken care of. I am so thankful for my vaccine — it is what protects my community and I every single day:

But Big Pharma is holding their vaccines hostage from lower income countries, leaving all of us susceptible to new variants that could upend our efforts to end the pandemic. Our global community’s public health remains at risk until we can vaccinate the world, and right now, Big Pharma is standing in our way.

The pandemic has been tough on us all, and our world deserves to have the access to vaccines and treatments we have here in the US. In order for us to finally get out of this mess, we must fight back together against corporate greed from Big Pharma and demand universal access to vaccines around the globe.
