Good afternoon friend,

More than 51,000 Dignity in Dying supporters signed our open letter to the Prime Minister calling for the government to allocate parliamentary time to scrutinise an Assisted Dying Bill. Today we sent the letter to Downing Street. Can you take one quick action and make sure your MP knows about this letter and tweet them today?

You may have missed out on signing the letter but it’s not too late to amplify our message further.

We were planning to hand in the letter in person on the steps of 10 Downing Street but unfortunately, like so many things, the changing nature of the pandemic threw a spanner in the works.

That’s why today we need you to make some noiseIf every person who receives this email tweets, every MP would hear about assisted dying 230 times today - I think that’s pretty incredible. It takes just 30 seconds using our easy Tweet Your MP webpage so please, take one final action for assisted dying in 2021 and tweet your MP now.

MPs need to understand that the issue of assisted dying isn’t going away.  Dying people need change too urgently to wait.

Every action you have taken this year has brought us one step closer to law change. Thank you so much for everything you do and thanks in advance for taking action now.

Keep up the great work and see you in the New Year.

All the best,

Sadie Kempner

P.S. We know not everyone is on Twitter so if you can’t take this action don’t worry - there will be plenty more for you to do in the New Year!

Our campaign is powered by members - people who support us with a small regular gift so we can plan out the most effective actions to bring about an assisted dying law. Sign up and join thousands of other Dignity in Dying members across the country, from just £2 a month:
