Dear NRDC Activist,
Thanks to a lot of blood, sweat, tears — and persistence — we've taken
huge steps towards protecting the environment, our climate, and our health
this past year. The fight promises to heat up in 2022 — but with your
help, NRDC is ready to rise to the challenge.

recorded a short video that I hope you'll take a moment to watch so you
can hear directly from me about the progress we made together in 2021, and
the major challenges we face in the year ahead.

We have reason for hope. From the U.S. re-entering the Paris climate
agreement, to President Biden's ambitious 2030 climate targets and clean
car standards; from the administration's restoration of crucial
protections for national monuments, to the collapse of the disastrous
Keystone XL tar sands pipeline project, together we secured significant
victories in 2021.
But with a climate crisis growing more dire by the day, our actions in
2022 will determine the kind of world we inhabit for the rest of our lives
— and the kind of future we leave to our children and grandchildren.

NRDC is fighting day in and day out to build a world that is cleaner,
healthier, and more equitable — in courtrooms, in Washington, on the
international stage, and in local communities like yours.
Your generous support makes all of it possible. Thank you for sticking with us —
no matter what.
Sincerely,
